Chi Nei Tsang Healing Center

(510) 601-5565

Let me introduce you to
Chi Nei Tsang,

As a Chi Nei Tsang practitioner for 20 years, I've been helping people to heal from digestive problems, emotional stress, anxiety, depression and much more.

Are you longing for increased energy, self-esteem, intimacy, creativity and greater enjoyment of life?  Discouraged with digestive problems, fatigue, or emotional stress?

Whether you're searching to unwind from the ever increasing stress of daily challenges or you're simply tired of trying ineffective remedies for digestive distress, Chi Nei Tsang provides a unique opportunity to heal.

Here you will learn what Chi Nei Tsang is, how it's done, and it's many benefits.

What is Chi Nei Tsang?

Chi Nei Tsang (pronounced Chee Nay  Tsang) is a highly effective form of therapeutic bodywork  which originated  from ancient Chinese Taoist tradition.

"Chi" means energy and information, and "nei tsang" means viscera or the internal organs of the abdomen.  Chi Nei Tsang means “working the energy of the internal organs.”

How Does it Work?

As a  Chi Nei Tsang practitioner, I work mainly on the abdomen with careful, precise and gentle touches, to train your internal organs to work more efficiently . (You lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table during the treatment.)

This holistic, alternative approach to healing gets to the root of pain and stress by releasing tension and blocked energy in the abdomen, while promoting greater energy flow to the entire body.

Contrary to our assumption that our emotional experiences are governed by our brain alone, actually emotions originate in the body's center, the belly. So when we have a "gut feeling," or can't "stomach" something, we are connecting with our bellies.

Your "gut" consciousness, also referred to as your Second Brain, is made of millions of nerve cells which hold emotions and tensions that accumulated over time and can cause stress and illness.  (see my article The Second Brain: How Your Belly has a Mind of its Own).

Chi Nei Tsang gently and safely helps release these old hidden accumulated emotions and tensions so you can fully heal.  Then more of your energy is available to enjoy life.

Benefits

Chi Nei Tsang promotes the healing of many conditions, including digestive problems (ie constipation , bloating and irritable bowel syndrome), fatigue, depression, anxiety, menstrual problems and insomnia. (See the FAQ page for more information).

Chi Nei Tsang:
  • Deepens emotional awareness
  • Balances the digestive system
  • Detoxifies the internal organs
  • Unblocks congested energy
  • Increases energy and vitality
  • Promotes mental clarity
  • Reduces stress and anxiety

See article What is Chi Nei Tsang for additional information.  *(Recommended by Dr. Oz and Dr. Andrew Weill, MD)

Who is Chi Nei Tsang For?

Many people come for CNT treatments because they are ill, in pain, or experiencing symptoms of discomfort, especially digestive problems.  Others are feeling stuck, going through deep change or needing to heal from stress and trauma.

Often people are suffering from digestive problems such as acid reflux, constipation, bloating and pain, and are seeking relief.

While we may know the story of what happened to us, we are often still being affected by past events, emotionally and physically.  CNT can help us heal on a deeper level.

Sometimes people are experiencing other healing modalities (such as psychotherapy and acupuncture) and they choose Chi Nei Tsang to complement and deepen their therapy.

About the Practitioner
For twenty years I’ve supported people with stress and trauma to relax and enjoy life.

In my practice I provide the conditions for healing to occur: a sacred space with respect, caring, listening and skill. My touch is deep, soft, and gentle.

The abdomen, perhaps more than any other part of the body, requires the touch of tenderness, strength, compassion, and absolute presence
.

My passion is to empower and serve others so they are able to live rich and full lives.  I also help people to get in touch with their life purpose and deepen their creativity.

I am Certified as an advanced Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner (also called Taoist Healing Energetics) by the Chi Nei Tsang Institute, where I worked as a practitioner in their Clinic.

I’m also certified in Holotropic Breathwork and Hypnosis, and have an extensive Psychotherapy background, as well as training in Biodynamic Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology and Feldenkrais body movement. I am a Certified Detoxification Specialist ( The International School of  Regenerative Detoxification).

See About Me for more information.

Art is another one of my passions and in my spare time I create mixed media mosaics.    My work can be seen here
